Audio sync issues in GOM Player occur when the audio track lags behind or plays ahead of the video track, but you can quickly fix this using internal hotkeys or by adjusting the player’s advanced preferences. Quick Hotkey Fixes (On-the-Fly)
The fastest way to fix audio desynchronization during playback is by using GOM Player’s built-in keyboard controls to shift the audio track in 0.1-second increments:
Delay Audio: Press the Shift + > keys if the audio is playing too early.
Speed Up Audio: Press the Shift + < keys if the audio is lagging behind the video.
Reset to Default: Press the Shift + / keys to completely restore the original sync settings. Advanced Settings Adjustment
If hotkeys do not permanently resolve the issue, manually change the default synchronization value within the player’s primary options menu: Open GOM Player. Press F5 on your keyboard to launch the Preferences panel. Click on the Audio tab located on the left-side menu. Look for the Audio Sync setting or control field.
Manually enter a value in milliseconds (ms) to shift the audio forward or backward permanently. Click Close and restart your media file. Troubleshooting Persistent Lag
